Newsletters not sending when session is closed quickly

We recently had a situation where one of our newsletters was sent to subscribers (or at least the proper buttons were clicked to send the newsletter), then the session was immediately ended. We found out the next day that no newsletters were received by the subscribers. Our log listing showed that the letter was sent but no one actually got it. Could there be a timing issue because the sender closed their session immediately after clicking on the confirmation button to send?

Sending is slow

I have a list of 14500 emails and i have started the sending, however it is going too slow at a two sendings per minute rate.

I consider it too slow as it will take me 5 days to finish.

Load on host and database serevr is minimal.

Can you comment on this and give me some ideas on what to check.

Newsletter send fails

I set up the demo but the demo newsletter is not getting sent. In the log file area I see a message :

"Failure sending mail. System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: net_io_connectionclosed.
at System.Net.Mail.SmtpReplyReaderFactory.ProcessRead(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 read, Boolean readLine)
at Syste..."

Sending to subscribers doesn't work

Below a part of a screen-shot of the Log list. When I send to regular subscribers nothing seems to happen, while sending to test subscribers results in the newsletters sent. What could be wrong?

Language Resource not working

Hello, after installation of the trial webpart on our MOSS-server, the fieldnames are not displayed correctly. Instead of field names placeholders like "LB_Newsletter" or "LI_NotSent" are shown. To my knowledghe there are two language packs on the server: 1031 and 1033, the language of the sitecollection is english. Please help!

Import email accounts into Newsletter from external datastore

I am curious if there is possibility to mass import emails from another datastore into Newsletter Subscriber list. I am able to improt them using Access but i can not get Key field and Subscription field populated. Without proper Key field Unsubscribe option does not work properly and i have to visit every individual email record to add Subscription to it.

Please advise.

Subcription issues

From the FAQ:

Question	How to send newsletters to groups or users without subscription, e.g. in an intranet?
Answer	You can simply add the subscribers manually or by programming to the subscribers list.

First: What do you mean with programming in this context, does that involve SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, ?

Second: is there a possibility to subscribe users as soon as their accounts are created and for specific new letter types?

Last: the subscription form doesn't seem to supply a suitable field for a distribution list, can that be modified?

Error: Sending WebPart not found - please add the part to one of your pages and enter correct URL in this WebPart settings!

I have provided the Subscription webpart with the correct url for the page containing the sending webpart, but i get this error : "

Sending WebPart not found - please add the part to one of your pages and enter correct URL in this WebPart settings! "

The pages are in the same pagelibrary.

No newsletter is sent to Testsubscriber

Although I marked a subscriber as a test subscriber he didn't receive an email when I click on "Send to Test Subscriber"
