Welcome to the SharePartXXL Taxonomy Extension for Microsoft SharePoint Management Center.
This web part offers some tasks that are often required to manage the taxonomy solution.
Copy items template list
Modifications of the "Items Template" list views and versioning settings are not published automatically. This task will copy all views and versioning settings from the "Items Template" list to all lists on your category-based sites.
Copy Items Template Web Parts
Modifications of the "Items Template" site are not published automatically. This task will copy all Web Parts from the "Items Template" site to all category based sites.
Reset list views
This task will reset the views of the "Items Template" list and the "Categories" list to the installation default.
Update categories count
This task will recalculate the count of assigned items for every category
Update category rights
This task will copy all user rights from category item to corresponding category site. Warning: Inheritance from parent Site will be disabled!
Update category sites
This task will update all metadata items in items list of every category. Start this task if you have deleted a category site or you have changed operation mode
(Re-)categorize content
This task will categorize (again) all items and documents containing category fields with auto categorize feature enabled
Export categories
This task will export the current "Categories" list into XML file format. To receive the file press the "Download" button.
Import categories
This task will import external categories from a XML file. Please make sure that the file has the required format. New categories must not have the attribute "ID". First select file and then press 'Upload' to start the task.
